Sometimes the best way to understand something
is simply to experience it.
is simply to experience it.
Our Come and See retreats are an invitation to step into the life of the Claretian missionaries for a few days. You will pray with us, spend time in our community, break bread together, hear stories of vocation, and experience what it means to live in a missionary community inspired by St. Anthony Mary Claret.
No pressure. No expectations.
Just come, spend time with us, and see what God might reveal along the way.
Men between 18 and 40 years old.
Men who are curious about religious life.
Men who are discerning a vocation.
Men who want time to pray, reflect, and serve.
You don’t have to be certain about anything. Many of the men who come are simply asking questions and searching for direction.
Inspired by the missionary spirit of St. Anthony Mary Claret, our founder, we believe that when people encounter God’s love, their hearts are set on fire to share that love with the world.
They say you cannot love something until you truly know it. That’s why these retreats exist. Join us and you will have the opportunity to:
Discernment happens over time, through experience, in prayer, and with others. A Come and See retreat lets you ask honest questions and listen to what God stirs in your heart.
Sometimes the answers become clearer. Sometimes the questions become deeper. Both are part of the journey.
There is no cost to participate in our retreats.
We believe that discernment is a gift that deserves time, space, and accompaniment. If travel is difficult for you, talk to us. We often have ways to help with transportation or airfare.
The most important thing is your desire to explore God’s call.
We offer retreats throughout the year. Our past retreats have been held in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Antonio.
Our mission is not only to help you discern whether you are called to be a Claretian. Our mission is to help you discover God’s call for your life—wherever that may lead.
If you feel curious, unsure, or simply open: come and see.
