Claretian Summer Mission

One of the most powerful experiences we offer is the Claretian Summer Mission.

Come and join other young adults to live the missionary life for several weeks, serving alongside Claretian missionaries and local communities.

This program is open to men and women ages 18–40 who want to serve and deepen their faith.

June 17 – July 20, 2026
Fresno, California

During this experience you will:

Live in community with missionaries and volunteers
Serve immigrant families and farm workers
Help with catechesis, parish ministry, and youth programs
Volunteer approximately 40 hours per week
Experience different aspects of Claretian spirituality:
- Biblical reflection
- Marian devotion
- Transformational discernment

But the experience is not only about work.

You will also share life together:

Meals
Prayer
Conversations about faith and mission
Group outings and trips (including visits to places like Yosemite National Park)

Participants receive:

Travel insurance
Housing and meals
A small stipend of $300 for the four-week program

Ministry in Action

Come and join a life changing experience, an intensive mission week with Claretian seminarians. This experience focuses strongly on hands-on missionary ministry.

December 2026

Participants will:

Serve immigrant communities connected to Claretian parishes
Help with catechesis and pastoral activities
Accompany families and farm workers
Work side by side with seminarians in formation

The mission lasts about one week and is a powerful opportunity to experience the missionary heart of the Claretians.
